International Coordinator

As International Coordinator, you represent Machiavelli and the association's interests outside of the Netherlands. This is mainly done by the multiple trips abroad Machiavelli members can attend throughout the year. Machiavelli travels to diverse and interesting countries to explore the local politics, culture, and nightlife. As an International Coordinator, you will mainly work with your International Committees and do a lot of research, organise transportation and accommodation and set up political, social and educational events at the trip destination. 

But the International Coordinator position is not limited to International Trips, you can also be creative and find new ways to bring more international perspectives to the members by for example smaller local events, podcasts or social media. Furthermore, the International Coordinator position can also help international students living in the Netherlands and help them to enjoy their student life to the fullest. 

Networking is also a big part of the job: you not only make connections with those you meet during Machiavelli’s travels but also with other political science associations, globally.
