Sign up now for the first Machiavelli Discusses of the year! On October 14th from 17:30 to 19:00 in REC A2.10 Machiavelli will be joined by representatives from the ASVA Student Union for an engaging discussion on what it means to politically represent student interests in times of political crisis.

During the past few years, many national and global crisises had a significant impact on university life and what it means to be a student. The university was not only shaken up by protests against the genocide in Gaza, but also by a government unfavorable to funding education and the presence of international students. What does it mean to represent student interests during times of political turmoil? The ASVA Student Union fights for the rights of students and works on important topics like housing and academic complicity. In this event, we will learn more about how they work, what they do and what challenges they overcome to do so.
