Machiavelli's Career Week

This year, Study Association Machiavelli organises a career week for the first time in its history. During this week, you will get the opportunity to work on your career skills and explore career possibilities. In this week, we organise one workshop evening, two inhouse days and one night with alumni. Hereby in short the programme with more information about registration per event. Workshop Evening | February 17th | 19:00 – 22:00 | University Library Singel | ONLY SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR DE JONGE HONDEN AND HAGUE CENTRE FOR STRATEGIC STUDIES

During this evening, workshops are offered by de Jonge Honden (junior consultancy firm), Public Matters, SolveNL, the EU Career Centre and the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. You can register for and find more information about the content of the workshops via the following link:

Visit to the Hague| February 18th | 10:00 – 15:00 | FULL

First, we’ll have an inhouse day at the Ministry of Defence. During this inhouse day, we will speak with multiple employees and work on a case that was also used by the Northern Atlantic Council. After that, we will visit the Dutch Parliament. You can register for this event via:

A Night with the Alumni | February 20th |  18:00 – 20:30 | Studio K

This night, multiple alumni will talk about their career path and you will get the opportunity to network with them. The keynote speaker of the night is Meindert Fennema, politician and political scientist. This event is organised in collaboration with the Alumni Circle Political Science. Inhouse Day: Hague Centre of Strategic Studies | February 21th |  12:00 – 15:00

The Hague Centre of Strategic Studies is a renowned think thank that is specialised in transforming global challenges of today into solutions for tomorrow. This visit will give us an insight in what it’s like to work in a think tank and we will get the opportunity to work on a practical case.
